More About this Project

The Georgia Department of Human Services needed accessible self-service kiosks in libraries to help residents access government benefits and services. They required a solution that was user-friendly, secure, and durable enough for public spaces, while providing easy access to the Georgia Gateway benefits system for citizens who may not have home internet access.
CTA Digital designed and implemented a custom Benefits Kiosk featuring a secure tablet mount with a protective enclosure and a sturdy floor stand. The solution included a touchscreen interface optimized for the Georgia Gateway portal, along with a hand sanitizer dispenser to maintain hygiene in the public setting. The kiosk was strategically positioned in libraries throughout Georgia to maximize accessibility and visibility for all community members.
The Benefits Kiosks have significantly improved access to essential government services for Georgia residents, particularly for those without reliable internet access at home. Library patrons can now easily log in or create accounts to apply for benefits, check application status, and manage their services in a convenient location. The kiosks have reduced the burden on in-person government offices while extending service hours through the library network, creating a more efficient and accessible system for all Georgia residents.
