The solution offered the flexibility for staff to quickly remove the tablet for handheld use and seamlessly return it to the dock, where it would begin charging inductively—eliminating the need for cables and minimizing clutter in tight or fast-moving spaces.
The docking base was designed for easy surface mounting, allowing for smooth integration into the existing vehicle interiors without complex modifications. Most importantly, the system was engineered with durability and security in mind—ensuring the tablet remained firmly in place during transport, even when traversing rough terrain or uneven roads. CTA Digital successfully delivered approximately 60 wireless charging case and dock units for deployment across the healthcare provider’s ambulance fleet. The goal was to equip each vehicle with a reliable, always-ready tablet system to support EMTs and paramedics in delivering critical care on the move.
