The Challenge

McDonald's is looking to enhance its delivery order pickup process by integrating a tablet setup into its existing stainless steel frame system. The solution requires a secure stainless steel holder that can mount to the current framework, with the flexibility to accommodate a variety of tablet devices and frame sizes, depending on the specific McDonald's solutions. The tablet setup will allow delivery drivers from platforms like Grubhub, DoorDash, Seamless, and Uber Eats to check in and notify staff upon arrival, streamlining the pickup process.
The Solution

CTA Digital provided a solution that met all of McDonald's requirements, delivering a stainless steel tablet holder designed to withstand the demanding kitchen environment. The adjustable holder accommodates a wide range of tablet devices, while the mounting attachment to the existing frame is also adjustable. This flexibility ensures that the solution can easily adapt to any existing setup, enhancing the extended delivery pickup process with a secure, reliable, and versatile mounting system.

CTA Digital has presented concept designs and prototypes to McDonald's, ensuring that all their requirements were met. The prototypes were thoroughly reviewed, allowing McDonald's to evaluate the solution firsthand and confirm that it aligns with their needs. The response has been positive, and McDonald's is now moving forward with plans to make a purchase in the coming weeks.
