A major big box retailer partnered with CTA Digital to enhance their store operations through the integration of cable-suspended camera systems. These fixtures needed to support AI-enabled cameras capable of both real-time inventory tracking and security monitoring. The retailer’s goal was to reduce dependence on manual inventory checks, improve accuracy, and elevate store safety from theft—all while maintaining a clean aesthetic and avoiding intrusive infrastructure changes. The challenge was to deliver a discreet, durable, and scalable mounting solution that could seamlessly operate within busy retail environments and support the demands of automated, data-driven workflows.


              

                
CTA Digital collaborated closely with the retailer to design a camera mounting solution utilizing cable-suspended fixtures, tailored to support both AI-powered inventory tracking and security monitoring. Through a series of design explorations and technical reviews, we arrived at a clean, functional configuration that included accent lights and could be seamlessly suspended from the ceiling and easily deployed across multiple store locations.A key focus of the project was ensuring the solution integrated smoothly into the retailer’s existing infrastructure—including lighting, speakers, HVAC, and other ceiling-mounted systems—without disrupting the store’s visual consistency. Balancing performance with appearance, we developed a design that complemented the existing environment while delivering the functionality needed for advanced automation.By aligning with the client’s technical standards and aesthetic expectations, CTA Digital delivered a future-ready solution that enhances operations while maintaining the cohesive look of the retail space.
